Through the PwC Middle East ElevateME Mentorship Programme, MEPI TLG scholar Nedjla Harrat had an exciting opportunity to gain practical exposure to the consulting field by learning directly from experienced industry professionals. The programme brings together university students with PwC consultants to help them better understand the skills and mindset required to succeed in the field of consulting.

During the programme, Nedjla was matched with a PwC Middle East consultant who provided career advice, answered questions, and shared real experiences from the consulting industry. The programme also included workshops on problem-solving, case studies, and the skills needed to work as a consultant. Participants also had the opportunity to meet PwC professionals and other students from different universities.

“This opportunity meant a lot to me because I was able to learn directly from someone working in the consulting field,” Nedjla said. “It helped me understand what consultants really do and what skills I need to develop.”

The experience gave Nedjla a better understanding of how consultants work with clients, solve problems, and build professional relationships. The workshops and mentoring sessions also helped strengthen communication, analytical thinking, and teamwork skills.

“One of my favorite parts of the programme was meeting professionals and other students who share the same interests,” Nedjla added. “I finished the programme with more confidence, new connections, and a clearer idea of the career I want to pursue.”

Through the PwC Middle East ElevateME Mentorship Programme, Nedjla gained knowledge, practical experience, and professional connections that will support her career goals in consulting.
