Diditta Rizk, a 2022 alumna of the Lebanese American University and the MEPI Tomorrow’s Leaders Program, continues to exemplify the program’s mission of leadership and civic engagement. This summer, she was selected to represent Lebanon at the 2025 Student Leaders Accelerator Workshop in Amman, Jordan, hosted by the U.S.–Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) in collaboration with Georgetown University.

The Accelerator is one of the most competitive leadership forums in the region, bringing together outstanding young leaders from across the Middle East and North Africa. For Diditta, being chosen was both an honor and a significant opportunity. Over the course of the program, she engaged with diplomats, inspiring speakers, and fellow changemakers through intensive leadership sessions, plenaries, and career development trainings. “Every session challenged me to think deeper and lead with purpose,” she reflects. “It renewed my motivation to pursue change that truly matters.”

Her participation reaffirmed the foundation she had built as a TL scholar at LAU, where she gained the courage to seek growth opportunities and the resilience to take on complex challenges. “The TL Program didn’t just teach me leadership, it gave me a lifelong network and a sense of belonging that still guides me,” she explains.

For Diditta, the Accelerator was more than just a workshop, it was a milestone on her journey as a regional leader, reminding her that leadership is not about standing alone but about lifting others along the way.

“Tomorrow’s Leaders is not just a program,” she says. “It is an identity carried by its alumni worldwide. It opened doors to opportunities I never imagined, and its values will continue to shape the way I lead, wherever my journey takes me.”
