Cisco lecture

On December 2, 2009, TL students attended a lecture organized by LAU and Cisco and facilitated by Mr. Didier Moretti, Vice President of the Emerging Technologies Group at Cisco, at LAU’s Beirut Campus.

Directors of leading Lebanese banks, NGOs, local entrepreneurs, and faculty and staff from other Lebanese universities attended the event.

The speaker made an effort to inspire students to take the plunge into entrepreneurial life. Mr. Moretti explained how Cisco is tackling the concept of business incubation and how it is trying to provide a favorable environment for promising ideas to morph into fully developed business units.
