TL Undergraduate Program (TLU)

Eligibility and Application Process

Step 1: Check if you are eligible

The LAU-MEPI Tomorrow’s Leaders Undergraduate Program is designed to provide higher education opportunities for high school seniors from underserved backgrounds with a solid potential. The program is open to both men and women who demonstrate high leadership capabilities, but who would otherwise be unable to attend a four-year degree program.

The recruitment and pre-selection of candidates from countries throughout the region is currently conducted by FHI 360 (for application inquiries please contact: help@tomorrowsleadersprogram.org). Selected students are admitted to LAU according to the university’s admission criteria

Eligible Countries:

Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia, Syria, Yemen, and Iraq, and West Bank and Gaza (including Palestinians residing outside of the West Bank and Gaza).

Eligible candidates must:

LAU will offer Intensive English summer course (3-3.5 months) to all admitted Freshmen students. All students will need to pass an intensive III level before starting school in the fall.

Credentials required for Syrians residing outside Syria: Will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Credentials required for Palestinians residing outside of the West Bank and Gaza will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. 

N.B.: American citizens are NOT eligible to apply.

Step 2: Choose your major

In order to contribute to their country’s development, students are encouraged to choose from a broad range of majors offered by the Arts & Sciences, Architecture & Design, Business, Engineering, and Nursing schools of LAU.

LAU MEPI-TL students may pursue any of the four-year bachelor’s degree programs offered by the schools. Available majors include:
