Maria Panoyan is a leadership and career development professional with extensive experience spanning higher education, human resources, learning and development, career development, and business.

In her current role as Lead Student Development Officer with the LAU MEPI Tomorrow’s Leaders Program, Maria leads leadership and career development initiatives that support students in building leadership capacity, professional skills, and career readiness. Her work includes designing and implementing development strategies, coaching and mentoring emerging leaders, facilitating learning experiences, and supporting students’ professional development.

Prior to her current role, Maria served as Lead Leadership Coordinator for the Tomorrow’s Leaders Program and held several roles in Learning and Development and Human Resources at LAU.

Her professional interests include leadership development, coaching, employability, learning and development, and the evolving relationship between human capabilities, artificial intelligence, and the future of work.

Maria holds an MBA, a Human Resources Management Diploma, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.
