Dina Abdul Rahman holds a BA in Business Administration from AUB, an MBA from LAU, and an EdD in Leadership from VCU. She joined LAU in 2007 and has since dedicated her efforts to student development across several departments in the Student Development and Enrollment Management (SDEM) division, including academic advising, outreach and civic engagement, and study abroad programs.
In 2016, she successfully established the Office of International Services and has since worked with various LAU schools and offices to enhance international programming and consolidate services for international students. Over the past ten years, she has gained extensive experience, training, and knowledge in international education, significantly contributing to LAU’s internationalization strategy and establishing the university as a leading academic institution in the SWANA region.
Additionally, she has collaborated with numerous international partners and associations on scholarships and grants, including Erasmus Mundus and Erasmus+ programs funded by the EU. In 2018, she took on leadership of the TL programs at LAU, during which time the program expanded significantly, resulting in approximately eight grants that have sponsored hundreds of students across both LAU campuses and secured over $35 million in funding for youth in the MENA region.
