Tripoli Car-Free Day

Tripoli’s Car-Free Day, which encouraged reduction of automobile use and the replacement use of bikes, has been an important event in the city for a long time, according to many residents. To emphasize its prominence, the event was attended by the president and other government figures, who watched a variety of demonstrations of dancing, singing, biking, Karate, and more.

Many people rode bikes and roamed throughout this fascinating city, making the day seem like a reunion between bikes and people. A marathon topped off the list of activities that freed people from the smog of automobile fumes and allowed them to gather with their families.
